Sarah Romero, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nine years of experience supporting individuals aged 18+ as they navigate depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, and significant life transitions, including divorce, pregnancy, and the postpartum period.

How I work
Throughout our collaboration we will focus on creating a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
My therapeutic approach draws from evidence-based frameworks including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I also incorporate elements of informed Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and informed Internal Family Systems (IFS), tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs, experiences, and goals.
Outside of work
I am a wife and mother of two. My husband and I love spending time outdoors and making memories with our family. We especially enjoy exploring the mountains, paddle boarding, scuba diving, and traveling. I believe that life is made up of both difficult seasons and beautiful moments, and I value bringing that same understanding, compassion, and authenticity into the therapy space.
